Kan vem som helst bli chef?
I dagens DN finns en stor annons med rubriken "Vem som helst kan bli chef!". Där görs reklam för kursen "Ny som chef - kursen som gör dig till chef" och arrangör verkar vara tidningen "Chef". Att den som ska bli chef förbereder sig genom att utbilda sig är något jag verkligen bejakar. Jag skulle till och med vilja se ett krav på "Grönt kort" för chefer - du vet som på golfbanan. Men att gå så långt som att säga att alla kan bli chefer, bara de har utbildat sig, tycker jag är att gå lite långt. Vi ser ju så gott som dagligen exempel på bristfälligt chefs- och ledarskap och jag tror knappast att några kurser kan råda bot på alla tillkortakommanden. Nej, varför inte istället ordna en utbildning för den som vill ta reda på om han/hon är lämplig för att bli chef? Där kan den som är nyfiken på jobbet få veta vilka krav som ställs på en modern chef och ges tillfälle att pröva sig själv i förhållande till dessa krav. Yes, that was ripped off from Min Shen. Sorry, bb. At least I'm acknowledging the fact that you started it first. DAY 2 IN SINGAPORE WITH THE CLASSMATES! (Cue outcry from Sue Mae) I'm just about to go to buy more water. Hahaha. Fun so far. We decided to ditch Sentosa and just go to Still Rd (Near my relatives' place, hur hur hur) to have prawn mee for an early lunch, then back to Orchard for an entire day of window shopping. Note the key word 'WINDOW' shopping. Good to hear that the heavyweight shoppers may not (Keyword: MAY NOT) have enough currency. Hur hur hur. But us ditching Sentosa = all their money can be spent, just leaving about S$50 for meals for the next few days. Hur hur hur. Just so you know, the hostel is clean and cozy. As in, the bed is comfy. That is, if you don't spring right up and hit your head on the ceiling (If you sleep on the top bunk like me). It's a bit small, but screw it. I'm going ghetto.
